Room 17 – Last train to maverick, SPONSORED BY THE SILVERCREEK RR CLUB

Room 17

The Silver Creek Railroaders Club and the Show Low Museum have formed a in-house partnership for this large exhibit of H O scale trains featuring “The Last Train to Maverick.” The club began building this exhibit in 2008 and continues today. Club members make the trees, rock formations, and some of the buildings, they can run six locomotives and cars on the established rails at one time using remote controls.  Silver Creek Railroad is housed in the former Navajo County Justice Court room. Artist Steve Taylor has beautifully painted the walls in the old court room to create a panoramic view of the wide open landscape of Navajo County.

“The Last Train to Maverick” is featured in the magnificent railroad exhibit, as well as McNary, Holbrook and Winslow. A must see for the young and young-at-heart.  Ask about joining their club.
